Human Intelligence Task

All stories in this book were written by workers on Amazon Mechanical Turk (mTurk). I published a so called HIT (human intelligence task) on the mTurk platform, asking workers to write a summary of their own life. The only requirement was a minimum length of 1000 words. A reward of $10 was offered for the completion of this task.

The 40 texts published in this book represent a selection from a total of 80 texts that I had commissioned on mTurk.
